Spring 2003 saw the completion of a new wing to the Rivermead Campus of the Anglia Polytechnic University in Chelmsford.

In conjunction with William Verry Ltd. ELS undertook the landscaping of the Michael Ashcroft International Business School from topsoiling to planting. 600 tonnes of topsoil were imported and modelled , then planted and mulched to form screen and groundcover beds, formal planters, feature mound and lawn. Semi-mature ornamental trees were planted to enhance this pleasing scheme for both students and general public alike.
